Priya Bathija

Founder and CEO, Nyoo Health

Priya Bathija is a nationally recognized health care leader, attorney and policy expert. She is currently founder and CEO of Nyoo Health, an organization dedicated to improving health and healthcare for women. She also works with organizations, like the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), as they design tools, resources and educational campaigns on ways health care providers can improve health equity.

Previously, she was at the American Hospital Association where she led policy efforts and strategic initiatives on value, health equity and maternal health. She started her career as a health care attorney and served as in-house counsel and a member of the leadership teams at ProMedica and MedStar Health.

Priya is also a distinguished practitioner in residence at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and an adjunct professor at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. She has served on the boards of several non-profit organizations and currently serves as a public board member for the American Board of Medical Specialties, the largest physician-led specialty certification organization in the U.S.
