Clinical analyst

Nicole Ludwig, MSN, RN, CCDS, has been a clinical analyst on the clinical terminology team at 3M Health Information Systems (HIS) since September 2021. She has worked in health care for more than 15 years. She holds a Master of Science in nursing informatics and a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She is a Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist through the Association of Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialists. Her nursing background includes neuro trauma intensive care, surgical services, clinical documentation integrity (CDI) and utilization management (UM), along with leadership positions in CDI, UM and case management. At 3M HIS, Nicole works on the content team where she creates, enhances and governs clinical terminology for 3M’s clinical solution products. Nicole currently resides in northern Nevada and enjoys reading and spending quality time with her husband and three dogs.
