Gregg Perfetto has a BS degree in health services administration from Providence College. Since graduating college, he has been involved in the health care information industry for 35 years, spending 33 of those years with 3M HIS. His career started in January 1984 when he joined Health Systems International Inc., developer of the diagnosis related groups (DRGs) adopted as the tool forming the basis of the Medicare Inpatient Prospective Payment System. Throughout his career he has held positions in sales, client support, national account management and since 2007 management of the implementations of 3M methodologies for state and payer adoptions.
