Meet our new Inside Angle podcast hosts: Dr. Melissa Clarke and Dr. Travis Bias

We’re so excited to welcome our new Inside Angle podcast hosts! Dr. Melissa Clarke is the senior medical director for health care transformation and health equity, and Dr. Travis Bias is our chief medical officer of clinician solutions. Both bring a unique perspective to the table as we discuss industry hot topics like physician burnout, social drivers of health and value-based care.

Melissa’s background as an emergency department physician and vice president of population health gave her insight into the health care system and how we can influence upstream care that addresses individual health concerns and challenges before they get to the ED. Travis’ diverse background as a family medicine physician who helped train clinicians abroad has a unique perspective on how technology, in the right context, can get providers back to what they crave: more time with patients.

In this episode, Melissa and Travis discuss everything from their time providing health care and training to physicians abroad, to how we can address physician burnout and incorporate technology to meaningfully impact care outcomes and payment models.
