Dr. Sandeep Wadhwa is global chief medical officer, Health Information Systems, Solventum. He is a physician executive with a particular interest in payment, financing and care delivery reform to advance population health, a focus he developed over a 30-year career in health care management and as a clinician. In addition to leadership positions with Solera Health, Noridian and McKesson, he served as the state Medicaid director for Colorado, where he oversaw a $4 billion budget and championed accountable care, performance-based payment, and evidence-based benefit design. He has served on a number of federal and state advisory bodies and is currently a board member of the Population Health Alliance and the Reinvestment Fund, a $1B non-profit devoted to revitalizing low-income neighborhoods.

Dr. Wadhwa is board certified in both internal medicine and geriatrics, earned an MD from Cornell and an MBA in health care management from Wharton, and is an associate clinical professor of medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
