Paul LaBrec
Research Director
Paul LaBrec is a researcher at 3M Health Information Systems. He leads a team of research analysts in the planning and conduct of original health services research and analytic product development in the areas of population health, payment reform, program evaluation, risk adjustment, patient satisfaction, cost and outcomes prediction, and quality and value assessment. He also plays a key role in supporting customers and presenting research findings to industry colleagues and the public. Previously, Paul has worked with start-up ventures in healthcare analytics and led teams of programmers and biostatisticians in the pharmaceutical-biotech industry. He has also provided research support in an academic medical setting employing his background in epidemiology and social science in population health and clinical trial research.
Paul’s personal interests include cycling, swimming, triathlon, beach camping, and spending time with his wife, sons, and grandchildren.
