Julie Salomon is a 3M^TM 360 Encompass^TM System is senior manager, revenue cycle strategy at 3M Health Information Systems Prior to this role, Julie was chief product owner, involved in the development of 3M™ 360 Encompass™ Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI), quality and physician solutions. Julie has also provided 3M consulting services for DRG assurance and data analytics. Her education includes a Bachelor of Science in nursing, intensive care internship, and infection control practitioner certification. She has practiced nursing for 34 years with ten years in clinical nursing. The last 24 years have involved training, educating and partnering with CDI specialists, coding professionals, executives and physicians. Julie is an industry subject matter expert in concepts of documentation improvement, compliance, quality indicators, severity/risk adjusted mortality in both MS-DRG (ICD-9/ICD-10) and 3M™ All Patient Refined DRG Software (APR DRG) methodology across payer populations. She has enjoyed working with a variety of customers including enterprise/university systems, large and small hospitals across the nation.
