Gretchen Mills has over thirty years’ experience in the health insurance industry, primarily developing and implementing Medicare and Medicaid products and programs. Most recently, Gretchen monitors federal policy and identifies changes that create business opportunities as a member of 3M HIS’ Market Strategy group.
Before joining 3M, Gretchen led Aetna’s Medicaid policy work identifying business development growth opportunities and regulatory requirements of the Affordable Care Act. She worked with Aetna Medicaid health plan leadership to file and receive approval for FBMME dual eligible demonstrations in three states. Previously at Aetna she lead Aetna’s annual Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plan benefit design and managed the filing process with CMS.
She has her M.B.A. in health Care Administration from the Wharton School and a B.A in Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania.
