Terminology standards and interoperability
Chris Gordon, MT, ASCP has been a member of the 3M HDD team since 2003. He started his healthcare career as a certified medical technologist with the American Society of Clinical Pathology, working in the hospital and virology settings. Chris assists customers with their laboratory data standardization including mapping to LOINC, and participates in development and implementation projects using other standard terminologies such as SNOMED CT. Chris represents our team at lab LOINC meetings and has an interest in expanding terminology usage in data analytics.
