New insights, new ideas and new friends: Three reasons why federal organizations should attend Solventum CES
The Solventum Client Experience Summit (CES) is coming soon, this Aug. 12-15, in Dallas. I sat down with Kimberlee Aiello, director of federal market solutions for Health Information Systems at Solventum, to find out what’s in store for federal customers who attend.
Why should federal customers attend the upcoming Solventum CES?
Working with federal organizations is a true partnership for us. Most of our federal market team has served in the military, so meeting with federal organizations and listening to their needs and ideas is very important to us. We have a keen interest in participating in their initiatives because the changes they choose to make to improve healthcare directly relate to the care that we, our families and other service members receive.
Solventum CES offers a great opportunity to strengthen our relationship, meet others in the same line of work and find out who to call if our customers need anything. Simply put, anyone who attends will walk away with new friends and colleagues.
By participating in the conference, our customers listen to and take part in conversations on trends and initiatives, as well as learn about the latest and greatest updates to our solutions. It’s an opportunity to hear directly from our president of Health Information Systems, Garri Garrison, who will talk about our goals and listen to feedback from our customers. My colleagues and I will also share solutions we’ve been working on to help address industry issues that our customers have raised related to revenue management, time to care and quality. More importantly, we get to hear from our customers and listen to their perspectives and needs to help us assess how we can better serve them.
The Solver’s Expo (formerly the 3M Science Fair) is another highlight that I personally enjoy! It is engaging, you can learn a lot and most importantly – it’s fun! After having a nice meal, you can meet our product experts and business owners to learn about our solutions, meet our leaders and catch up on the latest developments while sharing your challenges with us.
What can federal customers learn by attending?
This is the second year that Solventum CES has a learning track focused specifically on federal organizations. We surveyed our federal customers at the beginning of the year and the results informed the content of this track. Some highlights on the agenda include:
- A veteran health speaker will talk about how their organization implemented our revenue cycle platform. Veterans Affairs colleagues can learn tips and tricks from someone working in the same environment, caring for the same population and held to the same performance metrics and expectations.
- A speaker from the Defense Health Agency will discuss the future of clinical decision support systems and how analytics can help assess the care that our service members and their families receive.
- Sandeep Wadhwa, global chief medical officer, Health Information Systems, Solventum, will share how our methodologies can help federal organizations understand the behavioral health of their populations and take meaningful action to drive positive results.
- Our clinician solutions advisor, Lisa Dials, will draw on more than 25 years of experience to offer insights on starting a clinical documentation integrity (CDI) program. She’s been working with federal customers over the last three years and will tailor this interactive discussion based on their needs.
Not only will federal organizations learn from peers and industry experts in sessions like these, but they’ll also exchange ideas and innovative approaches with other attendees during informal conversations throughout the event. By spending time together, we learn from each other, build connections, expand our networks – and have a lot of fun!
What is your favorite thing about Solventum CES and why?
My favorite thing is the chance to connect with people in person. People are the center of what we do. These days we’ve come to rely on virtual meetings, and Solventum CES offers the opportunity to come together and put a face to a name.
Federal healthcare organizations are a small group, so it feels very tight knit and personal. I still have pictures on my phone and remember all the laughs from last year. By the end of the week, it’s like we were family. Solventum CES becomes like a reunion of sorts for us! To me, it’s all about engagement and personal interaction, and it creates a bond that can last a lifetime.
Register and reserve your spot today. Hope to see you in Dallas Aug. 12-15!
